In 2022, Siphelele became an Equity Analyst specializing in resources and industrials at Sanlam Investments. Before joining SIM, he spent four and a half years contributing to the highly regarded sell-side metals and mining team at Renaissance Capital. At Renaissance Capital, his focus extended to Diversified miners such as Anglo American and BHP.
Subsequently, in 2021, Siphelele transitioned to the Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) Investment Banking credit team, dedicating around a year to the role. During this period, he concentrated on Mining, Oil & Gas, as well as Infrastructure transactions. Siphelele holds a Postgraduate Diploma Degree in Accountancy and is a qualified Chartered Accountant, having completed his articles in audit at BDO South Africa Incorporated.
