Based in our Bristol office; we are currently looking for a Finance Graduate to join our Finance team on a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract.   
The role
Comprehensive training will be provided on commencement of the role and throughout.  The role will involve the following responsibilities and deliverables:

  • Assisting in the effective completion of the department’s administrative tasks and daily accounting procedures.

  • Daily and monthly accounting reconciliations completed within the required timescales.

  • Daily cash management of wealth and financial planning business units.

  • Basic financial modelling and improvement of accounting/reporting schedules.

  • Assistance in preparation of financial reports and MI for wealth and financial planning business

  • Communication with various supplier and debtor accounts departments.

  • Maintain the general ledger, prepare and understand reporting packs for entities across the UK Group.

Skills & Education
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following skill-set:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong general IT skills

  • An Accounting undergraduate degree

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Problem solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a genuine team player

  • Experience of Sage Accounting software would be preferred but not essential.
