Based in our Bristol office; we are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team on a permanent basis.
The core responsibility for your role will be to ensure the efficient recording and resolution of commission payments along with handling income and commission queries.
Key duties for this role include reconciling daily commission payments, ensuring commission statements are processed in a fair and timely manner and investigating any unallocated amounts.
This would be a great role for an individual with a desire to learn as the role offers lots of scope to grow and develop through exposure to additional end-of-month reporting and project work as the need arises. We are a busy Finance team and are looking for individuals who want to develop new skills and understanding.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate are likely to demonstrate the following:
General ledger experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy whilst operating in a timely manner
Flexibility and ability to multi-task
Experience with Excel
Studying towards AAT or the applied knowledge stage of ACCA
Ability to work well under pressure in a highly organised way
Good communication skills, with a confident nature with the ability to resolve queries
Experience of working with a financial services environment (preferred)
