Based in our Guildford office; we are currently looking for an Team Administrator to join our Portfolio Management team on a full time permanent basis, but would consider applications from candidates on a part time job share basis.
 
The role
 
At Sanlam our clients are at the heart of everything we do. The main focus of this role will be to provide administrative support to the Office team and assist in the management of private client relationships and their investment portfolios. You will be the first point of contact with all clients, as this role involves general front of house tasks such as handling and qualifying enquiries, message taking, call routing, progress reporting and resolution.
 
The key to this role will be your strong administration skills, your attention to detail and your ability to liaise and build strong relationships with clients and both internal and external parties. You will have a variety of duties including general queries and office visits and to provide secretarial support where required to the office. You will also be responsible for keeping up-to-date Health and Safety records for the office. Alongside the general secretarial tasks, this role also incorporates an aspect of investment administration. Tasks may include accurately maintaining client data on databases and helping to ensure portfolios are loaded and set up correctly, in conjunction with the Investment Assistant team. You may also be asked to prepare and implement mailshots or to make changes to mail merge templates.

The successful candidate may demonstrate the following:

  • Patient, friendly and helpful disposition

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Prioritises and manages time effectively 

  • Work effectively on multiple projects with different project team members and under the direction of project leaders

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a role requiring similar levels of attention to detail, numeracy and literacy e.g. banking/finance.
