Based in our offices in London, Monument; we are currently looking for someone to take on a Sales Support role within the Client Service & Sales team, to support the sales process.
Your role will be to support the sales team throughout the sales process, for example planning and organisation of meetings and materials and subsequent follow up as needed.
The role includes the processing of new business opportunities into the group, updating and maintaining the CRM system and handling client queries efficiently by liaising with appropriate teams for resolution. Completion of monthly and quarterly tasks, to include factsheet production, data provision to internal and external parties, feed monitoring and consultant database updates.
The main aim of the support function is to assist the distribution team in increasing business flows into the group. As such, strong relationship and interpersonal skills will be a key element of the role, as sales support work closely with a number of both internal and external parties. In this role you will therefore be expected to build close working relationships with the client base and with other business units (e.g. marketing and fund manager teams).
To be successful in this role you will need to maintain a broad understanding of industry, market and competitor knowledge. It is also essential that you develop strong product and asset class knowledge as key tasks in this role will include assist in the production of monthly factsheets across the Sanlam Investments fund range and in the production of sales literature.

Knowledge and interest in the financial markets and asset management
At least 2/3 years’ experience in investment management
