Based in our offices in Bristol; we are currently looking for a Property Administration Manager to lead Sanlam’s Property Services Team in the acquisition, ongoing administration and disposal of its SIPP commercial properties

Key to this role will be your excellent team management, communication and relationship management skills.  This would be a fantastic opportunity for candidates who have experience of working in Property Administration in Financial Services, who want to work in a great team environment in our offices in the centre of Bristol.

Key Accountabilities
  • Oversee the buying and selling of commercial property within Sanlam’s SIPP portfolio.

  • Oversee the administration of the commercial property portfolio, including rent collection, rent arrears, lease assignments and sub-letting, lease renewals, rent reviews and property valuations.

  • Oversee the arranging and subsequent administration of loans associated with SIPP Property Portfolio.

  • Ensure all customer ‘journeys’ are clearly defined, agreed and implemented and that appropriate SLA’s are associated with each aspect of these journeys.

  • Ensure all financial controls are closely monitored, adhered to and aligned to Sanlam’s risk framework.  

  • Create and deliver a culture of continual improvement within the team in terms of process efficiency, productivity and management information.

  • Manage and develop a team of 7 direct reports.
     

Skills and experience
 
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate the following:
 

  • Proven management or team leader experience with a Commercial Property Management Company and/or a Property SIPP/SSAS Provider.

  • An understanding of commercial property management and ideally personal pension administration.

  • Financial Services industry experience.

  • Excellent communication and customer services skills.

  • Good organisational and time management skills.

  • The ability to work under pressure.

  • Be proficient at using different IT platforms, including a Property Management Platform.
