Based in our offices in London; we are currently looking for a Project Office Assistant to support and work closely with the Head of the Project Management Office.

The role

The core responsibility for your role will be to work across multiple projects and organisational functions to support with planning, coordination and administration activities.
Key accountabilities for this role will include;

  • Being the first line of defence for Project Governance – collating weekly reports and being able to challenge content of submissions from Project Coordinators.

  • Taking the administration lead on assigned projects – attend meetings, take minutes, create presentations etc.

  • Carry out general administrative tasks in a timely and efficient manner – prioritising tasks to ensure timely delivery

  • Stakeholder management – keeping Head of PMO updated on a regular and transparent basis. Ensuring PMO is aware of all key issues and risks as well as important deliverables across change portfolio.

You will be working in a fast-paced and varied environment contributing to the efficiency and governance of the business by continuing to promote the roll-out of best practice principles and working as a valued member of Project Management Office. The key deliverable will be to assist the Project Coordinators with delivery of all assigned projects – this will range from document development, governance oversight and administrative support.

  • Flexible with a can-do attitude and application of own initiative to present recommendations to issues arising

  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Powerpoint and Word

  • Interest in developing project management skills and experience
