An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-qualified Management Accountant to join our Finance team based in our offices in Bristol on a permanent basis.

The Role

The Finance team provide key decision support for all businesses across the Group including performance reporting, financial planning and analysis & budgeting.
The Management Accountant will support our Financial Planning & Partnerships entities with the preparation of monthly management accounts and regulatory reporting. In addition, the Management Accountant would also support the Senior Management Accountant and the Financial Controller with projects affecting these entities on an ad hoc basis and assist the wider team with revenue recognition/allocation. 
This is a great role for candidates who want to develop their management accounts knowledge and abilities within the Financial Services sector.
Skills and Experience
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate the following:

  • Part qualified accountant

  • Experience within the Financial Services sector (desired)

  • Experience and knowledge of the technical requirements of IFRS/FRS102

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Strong excel and communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work with a high level of accuracy

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
