Based in our offices in Bristol; we are currently looking for an experienced Group & Regulatory Reporting Manager.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and proactive accountant to play a key role in the continuous development of the financial reporting and analysis of the finance team and make a real difference to the business as a whole.  The role will also offer significant exposure to senior stakeholders throughout the business.
The role
 
As our Group & Regulatory Reporting Manager you’ll be expected to take responsibility for the Group reporting for the Sanlam companies across the UK through the use of Hyperion, as well as the monthly management reporting and annual statutory reporting of our UK holding companies.
 
You will also take ownership of our Regulatory reporting (including Solvency II and quarterly capital reporting) including helping to improve the capital efficiency across the Sanlam UK group.
 
In addition to this, you will be required to form strong relationships with the wider group and act as a business partner for certain shared service functions.
 
Within this role you will also be expected to assist the Sanlam UK Head of Finance and wider Sanlam UK Finance team in our strategic planning and management (including co-ordination and development of the annual business plan and budgets, any re-planning/re-forecasting exercises, and monthly transactional management information).
 
Skills and experience
 
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate the following:
 

  • Post qualified commercial experience (either ACCA, CIMA or ACA)

  • Considerable regulatory / Solvency II experience

  • Good working knowledge of Hyperion

  • Experienced in the production of management accounts, financial statements and Group consolidation reports

  • Treasury management and Cash flow forecasting

  • Business performance analysis
