Based in our offices in Bristol; we are currently looking for a Facilities Assistant on a permanent basis.
 
The role
 
You will be responsible for sorting and distributing incoming post; servicing the post process to the whole building, including delivery, collection, franking and despatch.
 
Additionally you will arrange and prepare outgoing signed for and special delivery items and prepare courier and overnight packages and boxes where required.
 
To contribute to the maintenance of the office environment you will be expected to place stock orders and check kitchen stock levels throughout the day which will include a daily element of manual lifting. You will be expected to print internal reports and work with other members of the Facilities team to action them.  
 
Part of your role will also be undertaking some scanning work for the records department as and when required, as well as helping out the wider facilities team with large projects on an ad hoc basis.
 
Skills and experience
 
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate the following:
 

  • Experience of working in a Facilities department for a large office

  • Document scanning experience

  • Ability to quickly pick up a process

  • Proactive and uses initiative to achieve departmental objectives

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Superb time management

  • High degree of reliability
