Based in our offices in Bristol; we are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis.
The role
Like most BA positions; your role with us will involve meeting with decision-makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals; to then be able to collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing systems.            
Unlike most BA positons; this role will give you great exposure to the full Software Development Life Cycle, superb access to senior stakeholders across the business and will give you a fantastic insight to a wide range of financial services products, systems and disciplines.
The role will give you the autonomy to take the analytical lead on projects and will favour those with excellent communication and influencing skills.
This will be a great role for an experienced Business Analyst who takes a hands on approach to project work and is able to influence at all stages of a project.
Skills and experience
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate the following:

  • Extensive Business Analysis experience support by ISEB or equivalent qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge and  understanding  of the full system development life cycle

  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodology development.

  • Superb stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels.

  • A systematic, disciplined and analytical approach to problem solving

  • The ability to plan and co-ordinate in-depth testing.

  • The ability to take ownership and work independently.
