What's New

Online applications

We are now pleased to confirm that the first phase of our online application process will go live with effect from 1st February 2016.

So what’s changed?

We have removed the need for you to print and sign the client and advisor declaration within our on-line application process for all our Portal Products. This will enable our New Business team to start working on your clients application on the same day as submission which will significantly reduce the length of time from New Business submission to New Business Acceptance and Issue. (We have ensured that you will still be able to print all documents relating to your application for your clients to take home at the point of sale and to keep paper records for your internal files). You will also see that the on-line application portal has been improved to align with the layout of our overall company website to give a more consistent appearance.

What this means to you

If you have generated an illustration before the 1st February you will not be able to progress this to an on-line application once the revised on-line application portal is launched, a new illustration will be required to submit business. We understand that this may be an inconvenience however, we hope that by giving you advanced warning of this change any in-flight business can be submitted prior to the update or, alternatively paper versions of our applications will also remain available on our website for use during this period.

How can we help

We are updating our on-line help guides to reflect the changes ready for launch or you can contact our Client Services Team by emailing clientservices@sanlam.co.uk who will be happy to help, including the ability to connect directly to your PC/Laptop whilst you are processing an application using GOTO assist.

Being easy to do business with is important to us as an organisation and we hope that you find these changes to be a positive experience. Any feedback on these changes or any other areas of our business is always welcomed so please do get in contact using the “contact us” facility on our website.
