Sanlam Private Wealth triumphs at The City of London Wealth Management Awards

Sanlam Private Wealth’s Global High Quality Fund (GHQ) was awarded the prestigious Best Fund Award at last night’s The City of London Wealth Management Awards 2017.

The City of London Wealth Management Awards recognise the quality of service from the very best Wealth Management companies and individuals. The Awards are highly valued and unique, as it is the investors themselves who vote to determine the winners in each category.

The GHQ Fund celebrated its third anniversary in March, and recently exceeded $150 million in assets under management.  The Fund, managed by Pieter Fourie and William Ball, is ranked number two globally over 3 years based on Trustnet data for the international peer group. Since inception, the Fund has beaten both the FTSE All-Share Index and the broader MSCI World Index. It also holds a “5 crowns” rating on Trustnet’s fund factsheet.

Sanlam Private Wealth is part of Sanlam Limited, an international AA- rated financial services group with a listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and a market capitalisation of £7 billion.

Pieter Fourie, Head of Global Equities at Sanlam, said: “We are thrilled to have won this accolade, which acknowledges the performance over the past three years. Our focus has always been to concentrate on high quality firms which will provide solid returns for our clients, and the fund’s performance since inception vindicates this approach.”

The 2017 Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner took place on Thursday 30th March 2017 at The Guildhall, London and was hosted by Ab Fab's Helen Lederer.
