Based in our offices in Bristol; we are currently looking for a Finance Supervisor to manage the calculation, reconciliation and payment of commission and bonuses to our Financial planners.
 
This is a fantastic opportunity for a bright and numerate candidate with the ability to manage a small team; who wants to progress their career in finance.
 
The role
 
Your core tasks will be to reconcile the commission statements from a variety of internal and external product providers; against the money received from these parties; and then use that information to calculate the commission and bonuses that are due to our financial advisors.
 
Helping to manage a team of two; you will ensure that work volumes are effectively allocated and completed in a timely and highly accurate manner.
 
You will also be expected to efficiently handle a full range of questions and queries from our financial advisors and product providers to ensure that payments are correctly received and accurate commission/bonus is paid out. 
 
Skills and experience
 
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate the following:

  • Solid experience of working in a Finance department.
  • The ability to lead and motivate team
  • Strength of character to manage effective relationships with financial advisors
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy whilst operating in a timely manner
  • High level of experience with Excel (Pivot tables/Vlookups/Formulas)
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a highly organised way

Candidates with awareness of financial services products (Pensions / ISA’s / Investments) will be of particular interest.
