Salary £25-£27K – Part-time, 6m FTC

Based in our offices in Bristol; we are currently looking for a Part-time Claims Administrator to work with us on a 6 Month fixed term contract to assist in the assessment, validation and processing of claims on our Life, Pensions and Protection products.
 
The Role
 
Given the nature of the role, you’ll be expected to have existing experience and capability in assessing death claims and will have the confidence and compassion to articulately communicate with claimants who are typically bereaved and upset.
 
Your role will be to assist the Senior Claims Assessor with assessing the collated checks and documentation against the terms of the policies; and make the formal recommendations on the decision of the claim in a timely and effective manner.
 
This would be a great opportunity for an experienced Claims Administrator to increase their understanding on a wide range of products, be actively involved in the development of new service propositions, contribute to company-wide projects and to make improvements to our current processes to ensure best practice.
 
Skills and Experience
 
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:
   

  • Claims assessment experience across a range of Life, Pensions and Protection products.
  • The ability to effectively assess the validity of claims.
  • A high degree of articulation with the ability to communicate professionally and sympathetically 
  • A thorough and highly organised approach to work
  • Financial Services related qualifications (or working towards)


We can be relatively flexible with working days/times/patterns for this role but candidates are expected to work 17-18hrs per week.
